Classes for all ages and abilities
We are here to help bring out the dancer in everyone. Whatever age or level, we have a tailored class to meet your needs.

Classes filled on a first come, first served basis.
A 5% discount is given to families with more than one student.
There is also a 5% discount for full semester payment.

Semester tuition maybe paid in four payments.

OTHERS:
YAGP/ $600 for the year
Queen City Ballet offers gift cards for our students, you can put money on your students gift card and this allows them to purchase tights, leotards, shoes, etc. from our boutique.

Mommy or Daddy and Me(MM)
Ages 18mo-2yrs. An introduction to movement through song and music. A chance for toddlers and parents to participate in a classes together and practice group participation through dance.

Creative Dance (CD) (CDII)
Ages 3 & 4. An introduction to dance through exercise, creative movement, song and dance incorporating motor skills, stretching, imagination, emotions, and music.

Pre-Ballet (PB) (PBII)
5-7 year olds. A wonderful foundation of classical ballet. French terminology, storybooks, music videos and costuming are combined with a syllabus of technique, rhythmic activities and dance.

Ballet Technique (BI, BIA, BII, BIIA, BIII)
Our syllabus is based on the French schools but also reflects the American style of strength and versatility that has developed over the years.

Pointe Preparation (Pt Prep)
Exercises that prepare for the rigors of pointe work. For students in B II or higher taking a minimum of 2 technique classes a week.

Pointe & Variations (Pt & Vari)
For the advanced student taking a minimum of 2 pointe classes per week. Solo dances from the classical contemporary ballets are coached to develop stage presence.

Jazz All Levels
Every class begins with a thorough warm-up and stretching followed by technique and a combination. Various styles such as Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Funk and Dance will be covered throughout the semester.

Musical Theatre Dance (MT)
This class focuses on performance quality and expression covering a variety of musical theatre styles influenced by Broadway choreographers Fosse, Cole, Bennett, and Strohman.

Boys Only Movement
Ages 5—8. Combines jazz and ballet in an all-male setting. Provides basic dance skills while enhancing flexibility, co-ordination and balance.

Yogalates
A combination class that incorporates the stretching of yoga and the strengthening of pilates a wonderful way to tone up the entire body. Purchase as single class or 10-class card. Open to all levels and ages.

Yoga
Through the exploration of yoga movements you will find new and expanded openings in the body, mind and spirit. All levels welcome.

Tiny Tap (TT) Ages 3-5 and Pre-Tap (PT) Ages 5-7
Introduction to tap for the very young child; combines the discipline of dance with songs and creative imagination. Keeping learning fun!

Tap (Tap I, Tap II, Tap III)
Tap I Beginner- 0-1 years tap experience ages 8 & up Concentrating on basic timing, rhythm and the execution of different tap steps
Tap II Intermediate-2-3 years tap experience
Tap III Advanced 4+ years tap experience. For the student with prior tap training concentrating on advanced level tap techniques and combinations.
Adult Tap—Beginning/Intermediate Levels.

Hip-Hop
This class encompasses a broad range of styles, levels, and technique. A combination of Hip- Hop, Funk, Pop and Lock or Break.

Salsa
Learn to feel the rhythm and energy of authentic street Latin. Discover the basis of salsa through a teaching technique which focuses on movement and progresses to steps and partner work. Gain confidence to dance as an individual and with partners. Expressive, sexy, fun and suitable for students with no previous experience.

Ensemble
A class that focuses on repertory, choreography and performance for students taking a minimum of 3 technique and 2 pointe classes a week. Mandatory YAGP competition preparation class.
