Dancing stars
Andrew Pida and Kim Dodge were voted the winners of the Queen City Ballet Company “Dancing with Helena’s Stars” Gala Oct. 1 at the Gateway Center. Pida and Dodge competed with eight other couples and were awarded the glittering mirror ball trophy after dancing an outstanding cha cha.
Guests also danced to the smooth crooning of Mike Prendergast,formerly of Helena.
The gala was a fundraiser for the Queen City Ballet Company,a nonprofit organization that produces performances every year in Helena. The next performance will be a collaboration of the “Nutcracker” with the Helena Symphony Dec. 10 and 11 at the Helena Civic Center.
